If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9

  • Just yesterday I read Psalm 107, where it says "Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story -- those he redeemed from the hand of the foe... Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for humankind." This video reminds me that every day, all over the world God is writing a grand story of redemption. He pursues each of us with his unstoppable, all-consuming love. Surrender to Him today, and seek His face. In Jesus' name, amen.

  • "Zeitgeist [Religion] The Greatest Story Ever Sold" all the christians should watch this video!!!

  • @NuklearSkare I hear this argument all the time but it really doesn't make any sense. Free will is there for us to realize that we have a choice. Last time I checked science has only proposed theories on the origin of man. Hell, even evolution is a theory. It hasn't answered the origin of man. You know, a book (and the contents of it) that has lasted well over 3000 years and fulfilled prophecies is hardly to be considered a fairytale. And believe me, no one will ever get rid of the Bible, or God

  • @noxce101 But God already knows whether or not you will end up serving him. So what is the point of free will? So he has a reason to send you to hell? Science has already answered the origin of man and none of it ever had anything to do with a garden, a talking snake and some dust with a little bit of magic. The bible is a fairytale in a long line of fairytales. Get real.

  • @NuklearSkare Did I ever say the ideal plan was put into action? No, that's why it's ideal. If there's one thing I've learned is that God likes people to follow him consciously. That's why he created free will. But the "ideal" plan was never put into action because it would defeat the purpose of free will. And again, God didn't create a world full of evil just so he could be worshipped. Man made it evil. And by the way, I do enjoy the time I have. I'm even typing this with a smile on my face :)

  • @noxce101 And don't you think it is a bit arrogant that god created a whole world full of pain and suffering and this 'evil' just so that he could be praised for his wonderful creation? What a dick. Honestly, he is god! Why does he need the petty worship and adoration of his creations? Is he self conscious? God was created in man's image, not the other way around. Its just sad that you don't see life and reality for what it really is and enjoy this short time you have on this planet.

  • @noxce101 Well you just shot yourself in the foot. You said that it was god's PLAN that we all followed him. Yet he created free will. That is a complete paradox. You have just explained that God therefore cannot be omnipotent and omniscient at the same time. If he does not attain these qualities then why call him god? If god created man with reasoning skills then wouldn't he reward those who are smart enough to realise that there is no verifiable material evidence for his existence?

  • @NuklearSkare The ideal plan was that everyone followed God, but that isn't possible because of our free will. The only way this earth couldn't have been ruined was that God had created man without reasoning. But that isn't fair right? We would be like animals, blindly following God. Instead, God did the opposite. He gave us reasoning so that we could get to know and test Him. Unfortunately, man screwed up, BUT there was no other "path" available. I guess those are the consequences of free will.

  • @NuklearSkare It's curious because if you think about it deeply, in any scenario, man would have fallen. It doesn't matter where he could be placed. Whether it be Eden or Heaven (like Lucifer), he would have always fallen. Why? Because of the free will that we have. Have you noticed how we always choose evil or the wrong things? That's because of our free will. So in essence, the only JUST way for God to have created us is with the HISTORY we all know about Adam and Eve.

  • @noxce101 If God is all knowing and all powerful, then he would have known in advance that man would take the temptation? Would he not? Or does he not have the qualities that the bible attributes to him? So if he in fact is all knowing then it was his will that the earth be filled with hate, as it is now. The STORY of garden of eden is nothing but a mechanism for generating guilt amongst human kind so that man may feel in debt to god. We are not in debt to god, he made us the way he made us
