lol@hand-flapping.....add eyebrow arching to that list too. And you are right, Anuj Mishra is really heads and shoulders and entire streets ahead of BM's kids. He is in a different league.

I have to agree with you shiva4ever a bit. I dont think anyone can doubt that Pt. BM is a great artist, but his children are not him. They need to develop beyond the comforts of home with dancers out their like Anuj and what Pt. Das is doing with that tap dancer they won't get anywhere with all that hand flapping.

i wonder if u knw n e thng abt kathak urslf Mr. shiv4ever. im sure u urslf hav a highly undynamic pesona n so u r toking crap abt such great dancers. its malice in our society dat ppl wid no knowledge also comnt on issues. plz get ur knowledge rite first n thn coment on dancers lyk him. as far as my knowledge goes of 20 years he is an excellent dancer n thr is no match 4 him in 2days tym.

actually this is a great effort and beautiful it is sad of only our indian people instead criticizing should encourage how sad.. saraswati maa's blessings to the dancers that she blesses with continued excellence it a dance who cares about your selfish opinion jai hind..

I don't know how to say this politely, but Pt. Birju Maharaj's sons have really nothing on him at all. Here it is the younger one in the lead, and he is such an insipid little smug non-dancer. I do not feel the soul or even anything more than a peripheral knowledge. Certainly no personality to showcase whatsoever, or involvement of any depth beyond the mechanical 'rattaa'.
