In a day that many of the teams called "frustrating" or just plain "luck" it was Torbjorn Tornqvist, Morgan Larson and the Artemis Racing (SWE) team who dominated in the sole race of the day at the RC44 World Championships in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote.
It wasn't so much lack of wind, although it wasn't in abundance today, but the 180 degree shifts that delayed racing for two hours. No Way Back's owner Pieter Heerema (NED) put their day down to luck. The team were nearly last after the first leg , but their own private puff on the final leg took them up to third in the race and overall standings after four races sailed.
The home team, Islas Canarias Puerto Calero, were always in contention throughout the race, eventually finishing seventh, enough to lift the team to second in the overall ranking.
