Bush Pianist - Audio To Midi - Max/Msp - Max4Live

Transcription of audio to midi data in real time. Ircam externals used.

You need to download two patches: One generate midi data. The other plays audio. This is because ableton live does not accept audio and midi output in the same patch.

Ideas:
-Create spectral midi analysis of a complex sound, then manipulate midi information to create music score (Orchestration)

-Use the Transcription "accompaniment" to match a speech video. Try different instruments besides piano.
-Use the Transcription attack to shoot rhythm section.
-Use midi scale patches to colorize the transcription.

Pending features:
-Range of transcription.
-Output individual notes to various channels for orchestration of every singular note in real time.

Hi! the patch isn´t working for me means that i get no midi output out of the send patch. Do i need the other max externals?

Would be awesome if you could help me because i need this midi transcrition really!
