  • I use a silicone mat and it's great, I hardly ever have problems with sticking, and if so, the lightest dusting of powdered sugar is enough to solve the problem.

  • Mayheart asked about the BOARD...not what she put on the rolling pin. Yes she did put shortening on her rolling pin, but that was not the question. I do not know the answer to the original question, but her board does have some kind of clear cover sheet attached. I think she uses it in another video. I will look at let you know if I find that video.

  • what the fuck is sugar gum?

  • @seddiefan4ever you should be accept it dry 24 hour if you allow it to other step ahead like bud or greeen twisting rod by hand or makeing the flower

  • i hate gum paste cause it takes for ever to dry!

  • Where do most people buy their colors? I havent found any better than the ones at the website called CAKEMOLDINGS (and cheaper for that matter) but was thinking of trying something new.

  • no it is not.

  • The board she is using comes with the student kits from wilton. It is cardboard covered in plastic with an additional clear plastic sheet to cover the practice sheets.

  • Gum paste is fondant+Gum-tex, You can find it in wilton stores :D Or you can buy/find ready made ones.

  • What I have found to work pretty well is taking a regular wooden cutting board (preferabely new with a smooth suraface) and covering it with a piece of wax paper (wrap it tighgtly)

  • gumpaste is the same as fondant>????
