@FirecrAck3rzG yes! especially if you keep the top hat loose to where it moves with the bottom to create a fat sizzle/splash (whatever you want to call it). I had my top hat very tight for the longest time and I noticed you get a very metallic sound out of it when opening and also the sound deadens quicker. Once I loosened it a slight bit, the hats became noticeably brighter and sustained longer. Hope this helps.
