We have owned a 90 astro, 99, and a 2004. The first to were great vans with lots of miles on them. But the 2004 is the biggest pile of shit ever. it only has 64k miles and is falling apart. I am afraid to drive it because the steering mechanism is so fucked up. It has been to the repair shop more than our other 4 vehicles combined, save the 95 silverado that's on its 3rd tranny, but it's a business pickup that pulls a really heavy trailer. The 99 had almost no problems at 160k.

i have a 1996 awd astro with 301,897 miles on it and it hit 0 to 60 in 10 seconds stock and we went in the 2 foot of snow and had to pull a cop ford suv out and its our truck it has pulled many things

Its not technically a minivan. If you really think of it that way, you can call it that.. but it's actually not. Again.. Midsize van or just a van.

First of all, Its a Chevy Astro, And it's not a minivan, its a van or midsize van.

I think it has a GM motor though. GMC Safari - Chevy Astro.. same shit almost.

that van is a 1994 model not to bad of a van, the problem with mine was i had to fix the sliding door. what do you guys think about the 1994 astro vans? I personally love the 1995 astro.
