He was awesome that year, too, but I was only 2-3 years old. I didn't even know about NASCAR back then. Never heard of Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, or any of the guys. Jeff's been my hero since I started watching NASCAR, which was the Daytona 500 of '99. I was a huge racing fan before I started watching NASCAR, though, because of Speed Racer, then I heard about it, watched the 500, and saw Jeff win. It was awesome.

I think there's also some of them that are jealous of his wife, Ingrid. Can't blame them! She's hot! LOL!!! Jeff's always been my favorite, ever since I started watching NASCAR- the Daytona 500 in 1999. That gutsy move he made was art to my eyes, and the way he held off Dale was phenominal.
