  • the diesel lpg was already fitted to the patrol when my mate bought it, its the basic vapour ring prior the turbo system it ran a 3 bar map sensor (we run big boost ) and only really kicked in after a preset boot level was reached or the full throttle switch, not as near as good as the multi point gas injection systems that are out now but really does give it a good kick in the arse

  • mmm, looks like you still need a set of reduction gears in the transfer, and maybe ARB air lockers on the front, no point slappin big turbos and uppin the psi if u dont have all the running gear for the rest of the truck, but great effort anyway!

  • @suspect763 last time i checked it was spinning all 4 in 5th, lockers do nothing when ur hanging on the diffs like it was here...................... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha and last time i checked patrol drivelines are near on bullet proof apart from a front cv here or there lol

  • is that a GU turbo? Just strapped to the GQ... Or something larger... That exhaust sounds phat...

  • @pentergraph look at my other comments, but in the last month its now been cut into a xtra cab with 11 inches tacken off the arse getting turned into a proper comp truck with a even bigger turbo and on 37z :D we hope to see it back on the road soon we all hope!!!!!

  • @ its running 10psi on a modified t 3 turbo on 35 centerpedes, it will be having a turbo upgrage soon with more boost and a water to air intercooler fitted for the diesel lpg system with bigger pump and injectors fitted and hope to get the 4.625 diff gears and air lockers done but it goes hard as hell with the standard gq diesel 4.11 diffs and std lsd rear!!!!!
