This is as good as born to run by Bruce Springsteen and that is the first time i've said that about a song. PS, is the drummer wearing any clothes?

I'm in a Skynyrd Tribute band that refuses to play anything post 1977... I feel like a fish outta water in this band cuz I know that Skynyrd lives on and on and on dispite what anyone thinks... TURN IT UP and play it like ya mean it !!! Anyone that gets the call is in it to win it !!!

Going and get it billy and Leon...no one plays like u all did...RIP and miss u and think of u all the time...

too bad Custer didn't last longer with the band, he was by far the most talented drummer they ever had

@1dumtruckdriver Custer was really good, but he couldnt keep off the Coke and the other drugs. He had a bad problem and it was the band's best interest to let him go. I am glad they let him go, at least he was able to clean up his life and be a better man. I think Michael Cartellone is the best Drummer in the entire history of Lynyrd Skynyrd

So why is Ed not with the band anymore > I have heard him say he still wants to play with them.

@joeyaudio Ed has health problems and he desided to retire., at one time Ed wanted to come back, but he had so many demands, so the band and their management desided to severe all ties with Mr King., at one point he was very demanding that He and Hughie Thomasson should never be on the same stage, if Ed was to rejoin. With respect to Mr King, i feel its best that he enjoys his retirement.
