We can only pray..... C'mon science!

That would probably be awesome, but would require billions of frames per second, and needed to save to a 100 Terrabyte storage device for just 1 actual second of filming.
Also, you wouldn´t really see anything until the light reaches the camera...unless you prelight the room acourdingly, making it harder to see light <.<

How awesome would it be if a high speed camera was made that had so many frames per second that you could slow it down and see light move.

Pretty much like looking thru a fisheye lens.

is it not WAY too slow? 16% speed of light still is fucking fast.
or do i have to consider light travelling to the eye of the observer, in wich case the perceived speed would make sense...

nice animation,
im just learning about this topic
its facinated me since i was 5

1st to comment but what the hell?
wow, that is one long ass street. 10secs x 2.8x10^8 m/s (approx) makes it 280,000,000 metres long

This simulation only accounts for the relativistic aberration of light. You would also see colors change and those objects which appear near the center of the screen would become brighter than those at the edges. As you go faster and faster, the image would gradually collapse to a bright white dot right in the center of the screen.
