Can you spin straight from a batt or do you have to do something else to it? Also, if you card a white batt, can you dye the batt? I would love to try this, but I don't have the time, money, or space.

It'd pretty darned frustrating spinning straight from the batt without stretching it out into spinnable "bite-size" pieces. Check out my video Batty Rovings for instruction on how to turn your batts into spinnable rovings. :)

I was wondering if blending fiber that has already been made into roving would work well?

My family is a bunch of pasty red-headed irish folks who've sensitive skin, so I usually buy merino. Getting it in a solid color is a bit less expensive, and it'd be nice to be able to blend my own colour combination.

Absolutely. You just have to break it off into smaller pieces & fluff it a bit so you don't ruin the teeth on the carder.

Awesome! I love how you show everything in fast motion instead of just saying you did something, like they do on cooking shows. You're my new she-ro!

What kind of a drum carder is this? I got hand cards recently, but I am a producer, and it doesn't go FAST ENOUGH!!!!! Yours looks like it works great, and I want to find one that will effectively blend wool, bamboo and silk etc. Any ideas??
You are great, and I love your personality- not a dull moment in your videos!! Keep it up. Love the super speed....
