Your Daily Politics Video Blog: One of John McCain's repeated promises once he won the Republican nomination was that he would wage an honorable and dignified campaign against the Democratic nominee. It seems a significant development therefore that McCain has abandoned this pledge in his constant impugnment of Barack Obama's commitment to the troops and to victory in Iraq.

Look, I am disgusted by McCain in this campaign (I supported him in the 2000 primaries, he is barely recognizable as John McCain from a political standpoint today). I support Obama now. But WillCodeForCookies, please don't question him being a war hero. I beg of you. He is. Regardless of his reasons, he threw himself in harms way for America's benefit, and spent nearly 6 years in a torture camp for us (YES, FOR ALL OF US!) You can obviously do what you wish, but in opinion, that is wrong.
None of this surprises me. Mc-Say-One-Thing-And-Do-Anothe r-Maverick-Cain ... how many more examples do we need to convince people he is a dishonorable little man? Sure, he is some kind of war hero I guess. But people fail to question if he was motivated more by the family name than by a love for his country. I'm sure his opponents would not touch this question with a ten-foot pole but really one has to wonder about the honor and values of a man who among other things abandoned his crippled wife
McCain is prepared... 1. To retire...very comfortably 2. To get America into more ill-considered wars 3. To further dismantle safeguards for American consumers 3. To continue to eliminate good jobs with decent pay and benefits 4. To give more tax breaks to the rich 5. To give more tax breaks to corporations 6. To move America closer to being a police state 7. To reverse Roe v Wade 8. To further politicize the justice system 9. To erase Habeus Corpus entirely
John McCain is playing very dirty & nasty and the American public is seeing through all of his BS! He doesn't realize that this is the information age and it takes 2 minutes to look up on the internet to see through his dirty-nasty LIES! Talk about winning at any cost. Ha!
All's these pansy asses are doing is flipping the coin. That's all they're doing. And the Obama camp is known for doing a good job of it. They're lawyers, just as he and biden are. McCain said that Obama didn't go because the camera's weren't allowed, and he chose not to go because without camera's, it wasn't worth it. Anybody who turns this around is using it to their own advantage, and flipped the coin. Babies do this often. Obama: "No camera's? Then we don't want to go visit them."
While McCain's right, he didn't need to go below the belt. Obama's foolishness on Iraq is his own critic, McCain's campaign doesn't have to be dirty to win.
did you know that obama gets five times as much campaign money from soldiers stationed in iraq than mccain? Soldiers who are lower income americans who see whats really going on and what the war is really about.

It smells Republican slanderous bullshit.
