The video was made to illustrate one of a number of proposed interventions for a student project exploring nature, leisure, industry and chaotic systems at Trentham Gardens, Stoke on Trent.

The scheme intends to take the ideas already explored by Capability Brown further by utilising modern technology to transform visitor's perception of the landscape while still preserving the existing rich complex historical fabric of the site.

It is intended that visitors to the park can with assistance program their own forms of digital life in the workshops, their designs will then be released into the park, each lifeform influenced by the individual characteristics of their designer; their individual forms and behaviours will go on and add to on going chaotic spectacle.

The project aimed to be a catalyst for the growth of new and existing emerging industrial and leisure activities adding to the social and economic regeneration of the potteries.

A more detailed description of the interventions can be found under the projects menu on my website: http://www.steve-russell.co.uk
