  • I would have loved to ride this, it was $195 but a lot more affordable than the multi day trips with this train that cost $3,000 4,000 a person. I could have boarded it at Harrisburg, I'm from Allentown about 80 miles east of Harrisburg. The return trip featured a run up the shortline Nittany Bald Eagle to Lock Haven (excursions on that line from Bellefonte at the end of this month with old steel open window coaches pulled by diesel) plus rare mileage on Norfolk Southern freight only track.
