Representative Tom Petri Manitowoc Town Hall Meeting 8/17/11

My husband is confronting the lies that we're being said for the first 50 minutes of the meeting.When he said raise the revenue on the rich,he meant taxes.These people were making welfare comments from the jump,sick comments.

This made me weep with rage. This brave man refuses to continue listening to lies. His speech was beautiful and full of righteous rage. Thank you to him for being so brave. When he gets choked up I about lose it. He's stating facts and they don't want to hear it. SHAME ON THEM and THANK YOU to this brave man.

GOOD FOR THIS GUY! These politicians need to be called out on their BS. I love how that one guy didn't have any facts to rebuttle when confronted by the Bush tax cuts/job creation statement but yet had the nerve to call the other guy a liar.

The emotion that comes when this man explains his circumstances is physically moving. The problem is that the right refuse to listen to the facts, and prefer to sit in the echo chamber that is FOX/Limbaugh to hear what they want to hear. The truth hurts, and those who swallowed the Tea Party Kool Ade shoved their heads into the sand so far that all we see is their asses.

This man says he has 3 stepkids...Kudos to him for taking care of kids that aren't even his own. Goes to show you that there are "poor", "lower/middle class" with a LOT of responsibility. :o)

I hope this man's passion never fades. We have lost too much over the last 8 months to become complacent after making a few recall wins. We need to keep it up all the way until those responsible for hacking at the middle class are held accountable for their actions.
