Businesses who leave their doors open with their AC on are losing money and adding pollution to our communities. In New York City, it is illegal for stores over 4,000 square feet or with 5 or more stores in the City to leave their AC on with their doors open. As consumers, we can encourage business owners to act responsibly and run smart businesses.
Together, we can stop oil addiction.
This call to action is from the Human Impacts Institute, NYC Climate Coalition and NYC Oil Addicts Anonymous.
