Originally an installation, "Naptime" was created by hacking a Super Mario Bros. 2 cartridge. The visuals were created first, then the music was composed by Paul B. Davis

  • Isn't this song stolen from Antiloop? Or maybe its T.G.Virus or something.. remember hearing it in the 90's with screaming 303's anyways.

  • Bad ass

  • Hehe , cool ! The melody remind me something else , is it a mix/remix etc ?

  • I have to agree you man, it would be more better with some mario sprites moving around. But If you had a nintendo and stick this baby in, it would definitely freak people out. lol

  • man, I remember showing this video on my site a few years back. hmmmmm

  • OK - didn't realize that. That is more impressive, though mainly due to the technical feat (not the artistic value).

  • Dude the music is composed inside the rom as well. That alone is a lot of work to put in a rom.

  • I'm not impressed. "Hacking" a Nintendo - basically, breaking a few lines of code here and there - not impressive. And then taking that and setting it to music? Not impressive either. Is this art? Yes. But does it suck? Yes.

  • This is a lot more artistic than the clouds one. I like the music, it's really catchy.
