@USMC128 Cirith Gorgor in the common tongue is Cleft of Horror, it's also known as the Haunted Pass. Two towers guard Cirith Gorgor, known as the Towers of the Teeth, Carchost and Narchost. The Cleft of Horror is the point where the northern and eastern of Mordor's mountain ranges meet, these being Ered Lithui (north) and Ephal Duath (east). East of Cirith Gorgor, along Ered Lithui, sits the mighty tower Barad-Dur.

@USMC128 Cirith Gorgor is the pass guarded by the Black Gates, Cirith Gorgor leads into the Plains of Gorgoroth. Cirith Gorgor is the only entrance to Mordor large enough for an army to march through, the rest are mountainous like the Pass of Cirith Ungol, and this is the reason Sauron had the Black Gate build, to protect his lands and Orcish armies as he rebuilt them after the First War of the Ring.
