Video capture from an artist's mural in Winter 1987 Queen and Portland St., Toronto, every time I would take a walk from my studio at Adelaide & Portland I would see this mural for maybe two years. It was eventually brought down and destroyed. There was also a CBC story at the time (1986-87). I ask to please help decipher the imagery here, it's a head scratcher, but in some ways there may a message interpretation.
Anyone "awake" will notice the obvious symbols. It makes me think of the strange murals at the Denver International Airport for example, is there some kind of symbolism here...hidden in plain sight?
Who painted this, and why, and what message was intended here?
All comments and theories are encouraged!
If you live, or have lived in this area 1986-87, it would be interesting to hear comments.
