And people in the rescue business, like me, also know the risks. We both do it because we love it. Life really is too short to be sitting on your backside and bellyaching about what others do. Those that jump might need me and I can use the training to stay current. I suspect its the same in all the world.
Lots of sports need rescue. Should they all be illegal, or just the ones that scare most people?

Everyone jumps at their own risk. we all know that. 2m or 120m it doesnt matter really. Just jump.. life is short anyway ;)
Life well spent i say

Trollveggen, Norway.
It's illegal to make basejumps there, If you want to jump then get enough skydives and sign up for the basejump course in Kjerag, Norway.

I'm not sure about the rules regarding illegal jumping places - but illegal or not - I say, if they're foreigners, just let them hang.
