yeah but if u get it, davis can really never contain the beast within in him, it's his destiny to become doomsday. Other way... Chloe really is doomed around him, although she might not die, it's still up for debate,Jimmy can't die cuz he has to work at the Daily Planet a little later, can't be Oliver (Green Arrow), maybe Tess.... u never know

i think they made martian manhunter leave for a while to have him come back in the season finale, after this episode, titled "Doomsday" where, according to the comics, it took the ENTIRE justice league just to slow Doomsday down but batman and wonder woman were never in the comic or Smallville, so there might be a connection there, too. I hope the Death of Superman and Doomsday is the last episode of season 8 then the season 9 premiere is where he comes back to life.
