Skyward Sword - Cistern Basement Skip Speedrun Demonstration

This is how you'd do the Ancient Cistern basement in a speedrun. From the end of the video you just go through the door and up to the BK device. The whole basement is done in a matter of 2:00-2:30 minutes :).

This is the combining of Mzxrules's rope early trick and my method of reaching the ledge. Going straight to the BK like I did in my previous video isn't useful at the moment because you can't escape the pit after getting the BK (I spent an hour trying so I think it's a lost cause). Deathwarping puts the key back in the chest, it's programmed so that Link needs to survive exiting the pit in order to keep the key.

This is the recommended method for single segment, but I still think my method should be done in a segmented run, since it will save about 10 seconds due to the fact that you do not have to lure a zombie all the way over.
