Very childish for a 41 years old dude. Ma hong is probably the best chen master actually. If you think he sucks, that mean that you don't know anything about taichi. So you're the one that sucks!

Well I cant speak for CXW but MH is adament he didn't modify anything, just teaches what CZK taught him. I'm also pretty certain that he'd say CZK & his father refined things for a reason. Thanks for the info about Chen Qingzhou wasn't aware of that

@taijisb Also, as for the body connection, I'm pretty sure if Ma Hong or Chen Xiaowang wanted to they'd achieve it no problem, just that the way they modified their form to have them stand out among other standard bearers seem to be making them struggle when they're doing the form. But otherwise, since they must be at a level where they don't even need form to have their connection manifest their body, they probably have everything down when they're doing applications and what not

@taijisb Well it depends on what you would think of as "Lao Jia" Some people look at Chen Xiaowang's laojia the most authentic because he's the patriarch of the Chen Village. But some people think that the most authentic laojia is the way it was done back in the days before it was refined by Chen Zhaokui and Chen Zhaopei. Chen Qingzhou was one of the very few people to reject Xin Jia. Chen Zhenglei's Laojia is "more laojia" than that of Chen Xiaowang's as well

@whsskdhkf Errr??? some people would say Chen Xiao Wang is more a laojia practitioner. So who would you recommend as someone who has complete body connection???

@Bemap30 Actually, he does show some trouble achieving complete body connection, never having studied the Lao Jia system. Achieving true body connection is actually what a lot of great Chen grand masters are having trouble with due to too much focus on Xin Jia, it's what Chen Xiaowang, Ma Hong and every other explosive chen stylists are having trouble with.
