I'm always on the lookout for things that are only beneficial and have no drawbacks, this is one of them. It's well established that green foods are good for you and Spirluina has long been called a "Superfood".

The big surprise with this latest study is Spirulina aids in exercise by reducing fatigue (study participants ran 25% further at high intensities) and increasing direct fat burn by almost 11%! 6 grams a day is a decent amount but the overall benefits of Spirulina are worth it.

  • i have a quick question about protein powders. do you know the best way to mix it into milk? mine always clumps at the top or if i blend it, it forms this indestructible foam that never goes away. any suggestions?

  • @silenceunbroken hmm - it might be your brand of protein. I don't have this problem. If I'm using pure whey, I blend with water. If I'm blending it with milk, I use a blender and typically add (1) bannana (2) peanut butter (3) oatmeal. There is no foaming issue. What type of protein are you using?

  • yeah i took this for a while, i just found that taking 12 tablets a day made me feel like i was having meals of the stuff. it would be nice if they had a more concentrated tablet so you only have to take it a couple of times a day.

    if i crush the tablets and put them all into a smoothie, does it have the same affect? or do i have to have it over the course of the day?

    thanks =)

  • @silenceunbroken that's a great question. Crushing the tablets is fine. I've seen nothing about any special delivery. I don't know about the timing just the study seemed to spread it out over the day. Try yourself and see what kind of benefits you notice in either case.

  • @thedailyfit i use 'perfect protein', i think its an australian brand. i tried using a slower blending speed and that worked out pretty well.

  • @mikilynn2 I'm currently taking green tea, fish oil, d3, pycnogenol, resveratrol, eleuthero, quercetin, rhodiola, korean ginseng. But the top 3 would be Green Tea, Fish oil, D3. Those have a lot of great benefits for not a high price.

  • @thedailyfit

    What other sups do you take or recommend?

  • @mikilynn2 it's on my next supplement order. I just placed an order last week so I like to group together my shipping charges :)
