Alex Balfour is Head of New Media for London 2012 (LOCOG). He has worked in digital media for the best part of two decades. He founded the hugely popular cricket site CricInfo which was later sold to ESPN. In this interview, Alex talks about the challenges of co-ordinating digital strategy for the 2012 Games, and outlines what he believes are some of the key principles for organisations to successfully implement social and digital technologies.
