  • is it gramatically correct to write everything in hiragana? Will you still be understood or is it incorrect to spell a word using kanji with hiragana?

  • @psynema It is not incorrect, but when sentences are written using only hiragana, it can become hard to read (like telling where words start and end), so it is better to use kanji when possible. But if you are still a beginner and don't know kanji yet, it is okay :)

  • @japanesepod101 is ur website free

  • @TheSmilingRedApples Sure, you can write it in hiragana as well: わたしは

  • @jafetrese one of the best thing that you can do to yourself to learn Kanji/Hanzi is to get an iPod/iPhone. The character input is fantastic!!!!!!! I wish it was the same for my android phone :( I am going to get an iPad just with that purpose

  • @japanesepod101 I think that manga is a great way to learn Japanese. I am actually trying to find some Manga done for little kids - heck even babies - but I cannot find any here in the US in Japanese :( All I find are in English already.

  • it also means car
