@bedachaz Because its a national park...we dont try to change the natural beauty of it no more than we would yellow stone park.Im sure we could live there if we wanted to but why would we?Plenty of other places in the US that wont burn your eyeballs.

i was 13 when i went to death valley with my father..i'm 41 now and, well dad is 68..i promised him i would take his ashes there when he passes..as much as i love you death valley, i hope not to see you soon.
