Hi SG! Ok, you wanted an honest critique, so here it is. First off, the music was absolutely PERFECT! I especially loved the swell to the end credits. It was thoughtful, with a hint of hope, which is what this film is all about. In regards to the film itself, I did find many scenes to be underexposed, and the music sometimes drowned out the narration. Also, the video clips' volumes were way too loud, forcing me to constantly fiddle with the volume control. However, I loved the message!
Its a great start into live-action film-making. For the entire duration of the monologue, you maintain unique camera angles.
My suggestion for the future would be to work on your lightening and when cutting to the stock footage, cut or reduce its audio so it flows better in the film. Also, crop the stock footage to match the aspect ratio of the rest of your film.

Nice angles, I liked that last one where the camera kind of drifted away.

I definitely look forward to future productions.
