Do you think Geddy plays every note in every Rush song the same every time? Just because it isn't played the same way as the album doesn't mean that this isn't Geddy playing. It's called improvisation. I'm not saying this is Geddy for sure, but your argument of "played wrong" doesn't hold water.

Geddy Lee's grandmother's grandson, Geddy.

Great job on the isolation!
And that is Rutsey on the drums in your picture.

EXCELLENT JOB ON ISOLATING BRO.

Sounds like Geddy Lee to me. The little nuances just sound like him.
-
And he does all that WHILE he sings.

@tdelamont I agree I think this is Geddy. When you listen to him play the bass solo, it's just like he does it live.

Come on, that's Geddy. That's his fingered string snap...think he loved Entwhistle? Also he does play a lead-like bass part while he sings...complicated and, against the other guys and the rest of what he does, you don't notice the little misses. Absolutely him.

Id say it sounds more like the Steinberger. That is where my money is.
The Wal has more of a flat mid range tone. Listen to Hold Your Fire and Power Windows

@tdelamont The last part of your comment is true. Geddy is amazing. Unfortunately the hack who dubbed his own pathetic attempt at playing the bass is NOT Geddy. If you actually believe that this is Geddy Lee playing at such a substandard level then you are as ignorant as maxey5150.

OF COURSE this is Geddy Lee.. anyone who plays bass KNOW that this is how an isolated bass track sounds!! With the Drums, Guitar, etc people just hear the low end and a little treble of the tone but Geddy Lee's tone has to be dirty like this so it can be noticed with all the instruments.. Besides, you can hear Lee's distinctive strumming technique in this song.. So a riff is different? big deal, every bassist change riffs live ALL THE TIME..
