This game was kind of hard to put together due to the incredibly high number of stoppages. The usual suspects did their thing. Adrian Dantley went for 20+, etc.. What I was able to put together, I surely hope U guys enjoy..

  • Old school B Ball is the best....and nice to see Adrian Dantley in this vid. He was probably the most underrated player of the 80's.

  • One could make an argument for that..

  • Yeah Dantley averaged 24 a game for his career... 6 time All Star too, and hardly anybody knows about him. The dude was a scoring machine.

  • Yeah he was a BEAST in the post..U COULD NOT check him with one player down there..

  • underrated scorer but the pistons won as soon as we lost that sucker dantley

  • Blame that on he & isiah not ever gettin' along LOL!!

Isiah wanted to bring in his boy Mark Aguirre & went to team owners & management & pushed for that trade. B4 U know it, Dantley was gone LOL!!

  • That dunk at 1:10!! WWHHHHAAAATTTTTTT!!!!!! HAHAHAH i love it!! MJ THE FUCKIN MAAANNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great Video, people forget about one of the all-time scoring machines in Adrian Dantley. This is where he played fof a contender in Detroit and scored less, but when he played in Utah, he put up some gawdy statistics, averaging more than 30 points a game (four years in a row) while shooting better than 56% from the field, at just 6'4"! This is Michael Jordan at his physical best, his younger years when he would go out and obliterate his defenders, both offensively and defensively. Vintage NBA!!

  • The Pistons and Bulls were both two up and coming teams. This was 87 though and the Celtics were still the team to beat in the East.

  • wow

at the buzzer for Jordan to take it to overtime. The guy was just awesome.

  • I think Alex English has that title.

  • 1st things 1st I. Thomas was the best point in the 80's on the east, I'M FROM DETROIT SO I'M FOR SURE A FAN. jordan is the illest. in those days you had to have at least 1 legend and 3 all stars to compete. classic shit

  • yes i agree i also think alex english was very underrated in the 80's as well

  • Are you kidding me with that leap at 1:00? There is no doubt in my mind that Jordan could have been a gold medalist in the long jump, the high jump, the 100 meter, and 200 meter dash. Allegedly he ran a 4.3 40-yard dash. He also is the only guy I've seen that would grab the ball with both hands off a steal and a breakaway and then start his dribble. I don't think the refs ever saw that before either because they never called a travel on it.
