QR Codes are very interesting for customer service applications for example. However, the promise of RFID is in the radio: the ability to identify items from a far. QR codes as well as barcodes require line of sight and therefore such a speedy stock take would not be possible when using QR codes.

You are so right! We have now estimated that all leading brands and stores will have adopted RFID by 2016. To keep the competitive edge, it is a must! :)
