who give them the oppertunity to learn english? Where did they even learned the whole 'freedom' idea? Before the 1950s, tibettan society operated on agriculture slavery, and that went on for 10s of centuries before the 1950s with no complains and no change in the social structure, and now all of a sudden they are catching on to western liberal democratic idea of freedom and blah, blah, blah? Who gave them the "freedom" to be taught about these western ideas, and who taught them English?

If you are on a peaceful demonstration, I think most people would understand it. But if you go and loot, burn and kill, someone has to stop this stupid violence. The government did the right thing. These tibetans are the hardcore separatists and and I think they should be locked up for life. They are violent.

Tibetans rioted because they are not happy in tibet, they are frustrated. Wouldn't you be? If you were thrown in prison for life for so much as holding a picture of your spiritual leader! Would you be happy if the economic improvements in tibet didnt actually benefit you, and yet it was your country. Wouldn't you be fed up if you were shot at for protesting peacefully? The dalai lama urged people to investigate him, why would a guilty man do such a thing? Chinas media is state controlled!
