  • Ridiculous that this woman is teaching anything. If a baby has "gunk" in it's eyes that is encrusting the eyes, see a doctor and have the discharge cultured and get the appropriate medication. Wiping back and forth with a cloth is all wrong. Use cotton balls liberally. Clean cotton ball dipped in plain warm water, wipe from inside corner out and discard. Never wipe back and forth, that spreads bacteria.

  • this women knows nothing about how to care for a baby.....shame. NEWER use the same cloth for both eyes...you can spread the infection...that is the basic
