Sony needs to make a better XMB GUI for using media files. The current one sucks when you try to scroll through a huge list of music artists. The layout is terrible.

Failure would probably describe a system that took 3 years to drop their failure rate to lower than 33%, and that's in practice, not theory. You claim you're not a fanboy, yet you accuse anyone that disagrees with you of bias. Also, your metaphor doesn't fit. There are titles using the ps3's power to their advantage, it's more like having a spaceship in your garage and most only use it to get to mars but some can take it as far as Pluto and back. The PS3 is the better hardware hands down.
