In the Weekly Republican Address, Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl (R-AZ) laments Democrats' focus on their unpopular health spending bill when Americans want Washington to promote job growth.
Sen. Kyl says, "The American people have been telling Washington that promoting job growth must be the first priority. But, for more than a year, Congress and the President have focused instead on a controversial health spending bill which a majority of Americans said they didnt want."
He gives an alternative to the big spending and big taxing ways of Washington Democrats, explaining, "Republicans have a better plan. We believe the best course is to encourage job creation by private companies. And the way to do that is to limit intrusion by Washington and to keep taxes at a manageable level."
So how many statements made here wasnt supposed to be taken as "factual"?
This is the GOP, man makes one of the worst statements in recent history and takes hits on ALL sides of the political spectrum...and they let him give the GOP weekly address?
The GOP is a total failure and needs to be cleaned out before they tear the nation apart.

We wouldn't have lost so many jobs if George Bush hadn't destroyed our economic output with his damn wars and constant and illogical hatred for the middle class.

@timefordifference I needed a second reply to get my thoughts out... I also believe that we need to privatize many government programs. I believe that the Government should partner with privatized education to provide for public education. Public education could provide much better results if privatized. Social Security, and Public Employees' pensions should be privatized.

@timefordifference I have some other ideas to cut deficits, grow job creation, and encourage the private sector to hire at a much faster rate. A 2 year Capital Gains tax holiday would cause immediate job creation, as well as a drastic cut on income tax, and eliminating the 'emergency' extension of unemployment benefits. Also, defunding and ultimately repealing the healthcare bill, stimulus and reforming medicare would shrink the size of government and rid us of the deficit.

We need to create jobs in this country by withdrawing from or revising the North American Free Trade Agreement and similar treaties. We need to rebuild some of the manufacturing industry in this country. We need to penalize companies that move their plants to foreign nations to manufacture goods and give companies tax breaks if they stay in the US or return to the US to manufacture Products.

Giving tax breaks to companies so they can create jobs is one the biggest lies anyone could tell. Tax breaks create nothing but bigger bonuses for corporate America. You cant create job positions that DO NOT exist. The bridges between the rich, the middle class and poor are becoming larger than they have ever been in history. Soon there will be no middle class just the rich and the poor.
