Wow, great job, Gertrude! She actually reminds me quite a bit of Amanda Bynes, and what a great belting range! This is a fantastic interpretation of Gertrude and, I think, my favorite so far.

I'm trying out for Seussical in Nov. This is going to be what i use as a ref. if i get the part. Gertrude was AMAZING! The bird girls and that tapping block thing was a little distracting but overall AMAZING!

I guess the thing that should be considered is when the school did this two years ago there wasn't much out there to compare it with, unless you actually saw the show on broadway. Mallory developed the character through her own personality the best way she new how. Her type of acting does tend to act out every detail. But, I find that ability to be entertaining.
