UPDATE!
The Jane Does Of Campbell County, Tennessee
http://blogs.discovery.com/sleuth_truth/2008/07/the-jane-does-o.html
I tried to post this as a comment, and it won't let me. The link here is working sporadically as well. PLEASE pass this on to all you know. There is a working link of the vidi above!
On October 25, 1998, a man searching for cans off I-75, near the Stinking Creek Exit in Campbell County, Tennessee found the body of an unidentified Black female. In 1997, another unidentified female was found about a mile away. They were named Campbell County Jane Doe #1, and Campbell County Jane Doe #2. Detectives working the case vowed to solve the crimes, and get these souls their names back...they are half way to that accomplishment. Campbell County Jane Doe #1 was identified in March of 2007. Now, it's #2's turn. Please help identify this young woman, so she too, can go home. 249

  • yea my cousin investagters think he may of ceen the killer drop of the body he was huntin or scoutin one n sum guy was real suspicous n dropped sumthun off he told me that story last year.i dont know hue can do this

  • I believe that this girl's name and family will be found. In the end, faith is all we have.

  • A really, really sick animal

  • ok then.

  • The first victim was not Black, she was Hispanic. There is a possibility, according to the news articles on the first victim, that her male companion killed her.

  • that doesn't sound crazy. in fact, that sounds probable. if a third victim turns up(hope it won't happen) we'll know for sure.

  • So #1's been Id'ed. that's great to hear.

  • Another fine job! Thanks for all your work it is appreciated!

  • Very sad. So, she might have been married at one time. It said she had a mark on her left ring finger (the finger where you wear your engagement/wedding ring). So sad. I hope she will have closure one day. God bless. RIP, Campbell County "Jane Doe".

  • thats disgusting who could ever do that!!!
