On November 10, 2010, I flew out of Philadelphia International Airport on my way to Pensacola, Florida for the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow. The first leg of my trip was on board this American Airlines MD-80 and we flew from Philly to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. This video shows us departing from PHL's Runway 27L and does not include our arrival into DFW (believe we landed on Runway 17C) because the camera's batteries died and I didn't have a second set readily available. Take note of one landmark on our climb out of PHL...
Video provided in HIGH DEFINITION and shot using a Canon SX130IS point & shoot digital camera.
If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
