No, on the contrary, Tania is the same and they are working feverishly at Tania's paddock. They are working continuously, soldering, yelling, there is much noise. I called directly from the zoo one of the so-called competent institutions.... in fact things are going on here in Romania like nowhere else. I was told verbally that in terms of the environment it is ok. Tania has just enough space and we are idiots and do not see how well she is doing among scaffolds, the "wonderful" environment provided by the zoo, in order not find out what lies behind the fence. By the way, when we were going towards the paddock what do you think we saw? We saw an "outstanding" member of this zoo, the former manager of the zoo who is the "father" of all those idiots from the dog catcher team. He is the eternal sadistic torturer of stray dogs. Well, how can he stay at home getting bored, looking after his grandchildren when he has "grandchildren" to educate at the zoo. I do not know who can believe any longer in the authorities which have reigned with honor for years and that hide every time any trouble. How can you trust in the expertise of a report or what the hell it is, when I went there every week, I visited Tania and saw all the mess. And there were other people who saw the conditions, the misery where Tania stays every day. It's been immediately 3 months since she lives on only 100 meters square in her individual box. How can you post a picture with Tania outside in the greenery in November without specifying that she was outside only in September, when she arrived in Tg Mures. And since then she has been imprisoned on 100 square meters and she was not even able to get out in the space provided in front of her individual enclosure! And after my complaints on the Facebook and the pictures posted with Tania being imprisoned, people seeing the picture posted by the zoo were happy that Tania was outside, but she was not outside!!! I went there, I saw that it was a lie, and half an hour later I posted pictures of the landscape, fallen leaves, and turned yellow, to prove out the big lie of these disgraceful people. Although everybody commented well, everyone was happy that Tania was out, but even then it was not specified that the picture was not recent. Only an idiot can be misleading people who even believed it. They didn't think that the leaves are no longer green in November. Every time anyone went to see her she was only in her individual box. Why don't to ask yourself why the representatives of the zoo never posted videos with animals living there? If everything is so beautiful and the healthy animals are shinning why don't they do that? Because when taking a picture you can find the best places and angles to mask the mess and everything is beautiful. Why don't they post Tania in motion? Do you think that if they uploaded videos with Tania there was all this mess? No. In terms of cleanliness the picture would brighten but the elephant's condition is pitiful, and it is not shown in the picture and fools believe everything that a yesman says. Here nobody dares to face the municipality. Nobody stands out. How can you send out an expertise, a report against the municipality? There is not such report against the chemical plant Azomures which pollutes us every day. One hand washes the other, in the same sink. There is a dictatorship in this city! There is no drainage for urine in Tania's box! The mess is collected in a corner. Is this normal? From the medical point, our "brothers" across Tisa River, from Budapest, said that Tania is lively, healthy, she has no problem. Is that really so? Am I so blind or others to believe this stupidity? But if other experts come or ... ethologists ... would they allow them to see Tania? We remain the garbage of Europe, liars, forgers and what can we say about how animals are treated..., no one here would give any explanations. BUT WE ARE GOING TO GIVE EXPLANATIONS! WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR PEOPLE. WE DO NOT HELP THE PENSIONERS, CHILDREN, POOR ... DO YOU THINK THEY INVEST IN ANIMALS?? NEVER! I do not believe the lie of the people who issued this report! I am going further! I'll post soon all the report on the Facebook, just to get it! Jus for having fun!

It is unacceptable...I really hope she will be moved somewhere else...still, my French friend...this elephant has been in solitary confinement in PLAISANCE-DU-TOUCH, TOULOUSE, FRANCE...for over 20 years...so take a f&*(ing look in your own back yard, and only after point a finger at others...

I've signed the petition & written letters to everyone i could find but i don't know how much help it will be, but i want to thank you for caring so much! i know how heart breaking it must be to go in & see how pitiful the conditions that she lives in are & not be able to jump the barricade & thrash the idiots who are her torturers but bless you for continuing your support for her, i'm sure in some way she understands, elephants are incredible creatures & very smart i believe she knows your love

les roumains sont des arriérés et des incultes. le gouvernement est corrompu à fond et le fric va dans leurs poches. ils garderont cette pauvre bête tant qu'elle rapportera du fric. de plus les gosses sont des imbéciles complètement insensibles à la douleur animale. il va falloir que les assos roumaines se battent avec acharnement et elles ne sont pas riches pour le faire.

Write to the folks that IDA listed. Petitions do work. People petitioned to get a solitary bear out of a deplorable cell and it worked. He went to a sanctuary.

It is heart breaking to see elephants suffer at zoos like this. I thought that circuses were bad but some zoos are as well. These animals need room and need to be with other elephants. Not in solitary confinement.
