If I ever have children I'm not pushing any faith on them. I'd let them develope their own spirituality and pick their own faith. Wouldn't you want to teach your children about your beliefs and ways of life, that is the responsibility of a parent. You just have some growing up to do. My little brother is the same way, he's 15 and in that whole "there's no porpose to life" phase.
