Moth Singed Candle © Alycin Hayes 2009 is a song I wrote about my first love, Adventure Travel with all the joy and pain that come with it as well as my never ending hope for love and the future against all odds.
Some think this song is also about a man...I'll let you decide. I have illustrated my music with photographs from some of my travels in Thailand, Burma and Malaysia. Some of the photographs are from a Burmese Refugee Camp in Thailand when I was visiting www.darenetwork.com. The elephants are at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center where I was designing musical instruments for the Thai Elephant Orchestra.
The music was recorded at BobKat Studios in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada. This is my first attempt at a music video.

nice job, A Love the choral parts. only complaint is a wish you had told me where the shots were from. the children looked universal. CR? but they ain't no elephants down there!!!!

All of the photographs were taken on my travels in Thalland, Malaysia and Burma. Most of the children were Burmese Refugees living in a refugee camp in Thailand. The elephants are from the Thai Elephant Orchestra at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center. More info in my notes top right.
