Man Pretends to shoot at police.

At around 0245 in the morning an RCMP vehicle was headed back to Surrey from a Hospital in New Westminster when he came upon a male standing in the middle of the road pointing what looked like a rifle at the officers. The officers immediately called for backup thinking they were being shot at and Officers from both Surrey and New Westminster attended code 3. The suspect was quickly taken into custody and a K9 unit was brought in to search for the Rifle he may have thrown in a bush. In the end it turned out that the suspect was only pretending to shoot at the officers. Still a bad idea.
