My copy has arrived at last.
Now I can start making cool videos.

(I would have had this up a few days ago, but I was having problems uploading...)

Here is the fourth edition in my "[insert game name] - Beginning" series!

The series so far:
1: Tales of the Abyss - Beginning*
2: Tales of Rebirth - Beginning
3: Tales of Destiny (JP) - Beginning
4: Tales of Destiny (PS2) - Beginning

*there was no English version out at the time so it's not marked JP, but it's the JP version.

This time I'm doing the beginning video in hard mode, it's more fun that way.

This is the first hour and fifteen minutes of gameplay, it includes:
The Title Screen
Opening Movie (which is viewed a bit into the game)
An Anime Cutscene
Battles
Skits
Dialog
And several main characters.

This video covers everything upto the arrival in Janos, I'll probably make a rescue Rutee video next.

Enjoy!
Boss videos coming soon!
(PS1 fans, don't worry, I'll keep recording gameplay from that version too)

  • @Jeffrey6978 Sofar I am ^^ I get like a quarter or half, in general, of a sentence. I'm learning it really to be able to play Tales games, well the one's without the translations. I just got all the english Translations for Destiny remake, so I'm going to start paying it shortly. Which is why I came here XD to make sure my translations started where they should.

  • @Umbree61 No problem, I hope you have fun with learning Japanese!

    I've had a blast! :D

  • @Jeffrey6978 -sigh- and we in America get zip, on language learning, unless we seek out to take one. I'm finally on the road to learning Japanese at least. Thanks also for this explanation, I was actually rather curious.

  • I have a playthrough of the PSX version of this. Look at my channel. Not yet finish though.

  • @ShadowBoy1702 This particular version no (it's a remake) but this is game is for the ps1 also and there was an english version.

  • look for the wepon!

  • I'm disappointed in the lack of "Awahhhhh!" from the monster.

  • @EXHellfire On some games they do use Japanese for the menus, others use some English, I guess it just depends on what the developers feel like using.

Things like New Game or Continue are pretty simple English, so Japanese gamers would know what they mean.

Sometimes they just use English to give the menu a little more style.
