Nicks P.O.V.

Three hours later we were sitting outside at a little pizza café, and I was downing my fourth slice of pizza. Ashley was looking off to the sidewalk and Miley was trying hard to break off a piece of stretchy cheese from her pizza. When I finished the slice I leaned back in my chair and started staring at Ashley.

The sun was down and she was looking even more beautiful. Yeah, she hated my guts but still. Then I stared at Miley. Perky, pretty Miley whos been there for me forever. Through thick and thin. I smiled.

"Whats wrong happy face?" Miley asked, her cheeks stuffed with cheese.

"Me? Oh nothing. Hey are you guys done? We should probably get going if were going to make Ashleys curfew?"

Ashley immediately popped up and grabbed her bag.

"Thats a great idea."

And without a second glance she started walking fast to the car.

Ashleys P.O.V.

Yeah, so today wasnt that bad. At least not as bad as I pictured it. When we were in the car and the Hannah Montana music was blasting I started thinking about Taylor. I know that he wasnt the greatest person but from our little back and forth earlier I already assumed that we were a match. And regardless of what Nick wanted and what Miley warned me about I was thinking about seeing him again. I was bound to see him again next week when I started school for the first time.

"Hey Ashley, what are you doing tomorrow?"

"Umunpacking everything since you dragged me out here."

"Want me to help?"

I rolled my eyes. Why was Miley always sticking her nose in everything I did?

"Uh thanks Miley but I think I got this covered."

"Yea but just in case-"

Nick then came to my rescue.

"We have school when shell be doing it."

"Oh, right. But we MUST come back for lunch and we can eat together and Ill help you then!"

I rubbed my temples. Jesus this girl would just NOT GIVE UP.

"Miley, thanks again. Really thats a great offer. But the truth is Im probably going to do it early then you know, go out and chit chat with all the neighbors."

Nick looked at me and shook his head. We both knew that I probably didnt care who the hell the neighbors were and I would never be caught dead introducing myself but anything to get this chic off my back.

"Oh. Well how about-"

"Oh look Miley were at your house!" Nick said pulling into her driveway. Miley grabbed her stuff and kissed Nick on the cheek.

"Okay, see ya both!"

I watched Nick watch Miley walk inside. He was still blushing wildly and I rolled my eyes. If this kid blushed anymore he was going to turn pink. As we backed up into the Jonas driveway Nick decided, of course, to start talking to me.

"Shes really a sweet girl."

"You would think so."

"Whats that supposed to mean?"

Really, did this kid think I was oblivious?

"Oh, nothing."

When he was ready to come to terms with his feelings, he could. And he certainly didnt have to come to terms with me. At all.
