I have always loved this song, it brings tears to my eyes whenever I hear it.

My mother, God rest her soul, told me she thought of this song as she watched me and my two older brother carry our oldest brother to his grave in 1973. It's been so long, but there's only one memory I'll ever have when I hear this song forevermore. Rest in pease, Kit - Merry Christmas to all.
