I had a rocky start but today's a better day.

Once Dr. Nassif removed the cast and Packing I started doing a lot better. I felt so much better because I was able to breath.

I felt no pain through the procedure. I never thought "oh I need to take pain medication".

Getting use to all these little things to make sure that everything goes as it's supposed to by following the doctors orders was hard at first to get used to.

Dr. Nassif and his staff have been so awesome, they made me feel so comfortable.

I haven't had any bruising since the surgery and the swelling has gone down.

Today's a better day.

The goal of rhinoplasty is to improve the nose aesthetically (without creating a surgical look) in order to create harmony with other facial features.

A closed rhinoplasty is generally done for hump reduction and minimal nasal tip work. Closed rhinoplasty involves incisions which are confined to the inside of the nose. Though this results in no visible scarring, the procedure offers less visibility of the inside of the nose and is typically not possible for more complex cases.

  • thanks for posting this! It helped a lot! I'm having open rhinoplasty in 3 weeks and I'm very nervous. May I ask if the incision on the columella really did heal to invisibility? Is it really invisible now, even in daylight and even if person is talking to you form close distance? I would really appreciate if you share your experience with me.

  • Thanks for taking the time to post this. It's very relieveing to see some possitive reviews for rhinoplasty. I'm looking into having the surgery.

  • do you go outside with the cast on your nose? im thinking that if i ever get a nose job i have to stay home and not go out,

  • The surgeon does not perform the medical exam. Your primary doctor would. They can do the initial consult over the internet and phone. That way you can fly in and have everything performed. There is specific information and they will help you out with arrangements if you visit Dr. Nassif's website. rhinoplastyspecialist . com

  • Thanks for sharing. Can you email me back the actual process? So you went in for a consult, filled out a medical questionnaire and then scheduled surgery? Do i have to get some sort of medical physical from my doctor? does the plastic surgeon do a medical physical? or can you schedule surgery right after the consult. I live out of town and i want to make this whole thing go pretty fast! thanks again for you honesty and videos.
