  • What a wonderful combination of host and guest. A chance to listen in on a conversation between talented, educated and gracious people. Maggie Smith a treasure and Brian Linehan a wonderfully sincere interviewer. I sensed a great deal of mutual respect. A pleasure to listen to. Thanks nsicanada

  • I never like calling someone the greatest actress in the world, because how can one judge that ... but, in this case? OK, sure!

  • It's so refreshing to listen to an actress with such respect for acting! She really sees it as art---and, that's as it should be. So often, I hear actresses belittle it and downplay the skill involved, which inevitably makes me lose respect for them. Actors and actresses should not receive nor should they expect respect from people if they themselves have no respect for the art that it can be and often is. Cause that's like being a doctor w/o caring. I'm glad Maggie seems to understand this.

  • Interviews now aren't nearly as intimate and deep as this. Great job!

    Love Maggie!

  • i love her voice.

  • You don't find the interviews like that anymore, unfortunately. People seemed to listen to one another more carefully. Of course, in this case, it is thanks to Maggie Smith who wonderfully calls the attention of the viewer. Yet, not exactly so! It appears to me different, very different, a sort of "lost world" when you went to be interviewed because you really had something to say and people listened to you.
