For someone who was in the Army you're pretty dumb and you sound like an armchair fatty. They climb it for the challenge, to push themselves, explore the limits of our fantastic bodies and minds whilst lazy gits rot their hearts in armchairs watching telly crap.

Why do people climb mountains? It's cold, dangerous, tiresome, and when they get up there it's not like there's any treasure. I think I'd rather stay at home =P And why do they have to put their poop in a can and carry it around? In case they run out of food? When I was in the army we just dug a hole in the ground and then covered it up otherwise it'd be called a "land mine." And of course we wouldn't litter, leaving no trace =P

Nobody has to enforce it, you get caught doing it you get fined... period. Just put the fine there so there would be less trash, it'll keep those who care for their money litter-less if you will.
