Designed for low noise, low distortion,wideband amplier use. This high stability, hybrid circuit also features a push-pull output stage.Its gain stability with temperature and amplification linearity are a result of the pushpull circuit design.
This versatile wideband, Rf amplifier,in a rugged DIP styled package, features an 400MHz bandwith ,with a typical 18.5 dB power gain. The CA2818C also features a maximum 14 dBm power input.For Many years the most popular and most specified wideband linear Amplifier in the world was the CA 2818C.Featuring a 400 MHz bandwith of 0.35 to 400 MHz, it is the most popular and most versatile as well as frequently requested wideband RF Amplifier, today.Originally marketed by both TRW and Motorola as the CA2818C it has recently been discontinued.Now, American Microsemiconductor is marketing the same wideband RF Amplifier as CA2818C.
